Sometimes you need some help
to get "justice" in your housing
I know that you were probably promised that your Deferred Adjudication for a Felony (also known as a Deferred Felony or D.A.) would not "show up" but that isn't always true.
You may have been denied the apartment you want and not really know where to turn. You may fear that your only choice is to go to a "run down" or slummy place...
It is true that 95% of apartment complexes will not accept your D.A. But what is also true, is that 5% will. I know the best of these for you.
Call me at 832-303-3002 (or my new DFW number 972-798-3795) or complete a Find Me a TX apt form by clicking on the link.
I know the problems you are facing and I know the solutions.

TEXAS NUMBER 1 LEGAL MYTH
Fred Dahr, noted Houston Criminal Defense Attorney, has a blog article that is worth reading in which he states the Number 1 Texas Legal Myth:
"the number one myth in Texas criminal law is "finish your deferred and the offense disappears. It's like it never happened." This lie is told to defendants every day in every court house in every county in Texas."
I would tell you, as an apartment locator, is that Apartments will also know and if you don't have a locator, like myself, that specializes in helping people with D.A.'s -- that you will be turned down. And turned down often. There are only a handful of apartments in each metro area of TX that will accept your DA that won't accept convicted felons.
Fred Dahr's blog can be found my clicking on the following link: http://www.texasdefenselaw.com/recent_news/2008/01/understanding-deferred-adjudication-and.html

5 More...and The Search for More will never end
Some people call me "a bull dog" in the way I approach finding places for my clients. I like to think I am presistant.
But, I don't give up; I never will. I'll continue to search for the nicest felony apartments in Dallas - Ft. Worth (or DFW) or the nicest apartments that take misdemeanors, deferred adjudications for a felony, or a felony conviction.
In my mind, every place I find today could be a place for a client tomorrow. I have one of the most, if not the most extensive databases in Texas for apartments that are felon friendly.
And I aim to keep it that way. My clients expect it of me.

THIS ONE WORD CAN GET YOU DENIED
AT MOST APARTMENT COMPLEXES
I had a client who was involved in a traffic accident and left the scene "briefly". His felony was Leaving The Scene of an Accident - Volience (since someone was hurt in the accident).
Even though it was the only thing on his record, most complexes would not work with him. All the ones who denied him told me that if the charge did not have the word "Violence" or "Violent" on it; it would not have been a problem.
But the good news is I found him a place. I can find you a place too. Whether you are looking in Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, Austin, or San Antonio.
I specialize in helping people with criminal convictions. To contact me, call me at 832-303-3002 or complete a form on the www.AptFindFelons.com website today.

I am changing in 2010
In 2009, I specialized in helping people overcome criminal records rent. But I also took calls and tried to help people with Evictions, Broken Leases, and with other issues. I've come to the conclusion that my efforts are best spent helping only those people with criminal issues rent.
If I have taken your case and it is one that doesn't involve a criminal arrest then I will finish your case but will not take any more on. I have two very capable co-workers who can handle broken leases and other tough issues.
In 2010, I'm going to dedicate my efforts in helping with the following situations:
- Helping those people with serious Misdemeanors lease
- Working with clients with Deferred Felonies also called Deferred Adjudications for a Felony offense rent
- Assisting felons and their families to rent apartments and townhomes
I haven't decided if I will continue to go to The Apartment Store on a daily basis. To reach me, you should call my 24 x7 Message line 832-303-3002 or contact me at AptFindFelons@gmail.com. Of course, you can always engage my services through my website www.AptFindFelons.com.
It is my wish to help you or your loved one to find a great apartment without wasting your application fees or having to lease under a different name (and possibly be evicted if you are "found out"). I believe in being honest and above-board in all dealings.
Please contact me if you need my services; it is a free service, the Apartments pay my fee.
